CARLOS JARA JOINS MEXICAN COIN COMPANY
Latin American Numismatics and it’s sister company Mexican Coin Company specialize in the coins of Mexico, Central and South America. We are very pleased to announce that Carlos Jara has joined the firm and will be directing our Latin American operations.
Carlos lives in Chile and will be traveling throughout Central and South America. Carlos will also attend the major US conventions, including the ANA World Fair of Money. Carlos is a well know expert in Latin American Numismatics and has published a number of works on this field including his recent “The First Coinage of the Santiago Mint: 1749-1772“ (2005) and “Historia de la Casa de Moneda de Guatemala: 1733-1776“ (2010). Both of these are now the definitive references on their subject and the latter can be purchased on our website.
